52When I travel I find that tap water has a great effect on my skin, hair and nails. Each country has it's own standards for how clean the water in the faucets is and how exactly to clean it. I know that in Russia drinking tap water is the fastest way possible to get diarrhea for example.
We do not really think about it but we do end up spending quite a bit of time in contact with water (washing dishes, washing hands, taking showers etc.)
I would sugges installing filters on your tap and maybe trying to see if you can get a filter onto your shower head as well.
