What should you do if your boyfriend is going on a trip without you and he packs condoms in his luggage?

Naturally the first reaction would be to get upset, mad, maybe put holes in the condom if you are particularly vindictive...

I however am a firm believer in giving the person I am mad at 1 (and I stress this -> ONE) chance to explain. Basically in such a situation I would confront him before he left for the trip asking why he needs it and what he is planing to use them for. Maybe, just maybe there is a reasonable explanation.

If he plans to cheat, does he know that it would hurt you? Have the two of you ever discussed whether one night stands with someone else were ok or not? Knowing that it would hurt you, would he be willing to not do what he was planing to do?

If he simply does not care that you are going to be hurt and plans to do it anyways, this would a good clue to break up with him. Basically this means that he does not love and value you enough to put your emotional stamility beyound and above his personal desires.

In other words he places himself first and you second.

But if you break up with him without ever talking to him about it... wouldn't you forever wonder why he had it? and whether the two of you still had a chance?

Talking to him will give clarity and also (in case it's as bad as it sounds) closure.
